WARRANTY

All Renata Rubio 92.5 silver jewelry has a lifetime warranty against defects.  A "defect" is a flaw in the manufacturing of the item that causes the item to have a problem during normal use.  We will replace any item that has a defect.  If an item has a problem please Contact Us and describe the problem so we may send you a return authorization number and a pre-paid shipping label.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND DIPPING STERLING SILVER JEWELRY IN ANY KIND OF CHEMICAL LIQUID CLEANERS. 

Liquid chemical cleaners may say they are safe for all jewelry, but we have seen such cleaners bleach or otherwise damage the finish on many types of sterling silver jewelry.  Additionally, those liquid chemicals are very TOXIC.  The fine print recommends the use of a mask, gloves and be in a well ventilated room.  Don't risk the health of your lungs and skin, and permanently damage your sterling silver jewelry.


OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE CAUSED BY CHEMICAL LIQUID CLEANERS.

 

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
We ask that customers treat their Renata Rubio 92.5 silver jewelry with the same care they would any other fine jewelry.  Renata Rubio 92.5 items are made to be sturdy, but it is jewelry and therefore somewhat delicate.  Sterling silver looks like steel but silver is not as tough as steel.  We do not recommend that you wear sterling silver jewelry when gardening or working out.  Also, please be aware that there are chemicals which can harm the finish on sterling silver present in some shampoos, hair products, perfumes, skin creams, swimming pools, and the ocean.  It is best to avoid wearing sterling silver jewelry in the pool, ocean, shower, or when you are applying hair products, skin products, or perfume.  Put your jewelry on last when getting ready for the day.  
 
HOW TO MINIMIZE TARNISHING
When you are not wearing your sterling silver jewelry, keep it the velvet pouch or jewelry box that came with your purchase.  Tarnish is caused mostly by particles in the air (such as sulfur) that are attracted to sterling and attach to it.  Our jewelry boxes and velvet pouches are not just an elegant touch, they greatly reduce tarnish.  If your sterling silver jewelry does tarnish, we recommend going over it using the free polishing cloth that was also part of your purchase.  We have a great blog entry that discusses alternative ways to clean your jewelry that are not toxic, such as using hand soap and pine sol.  It's a short and informative read.

Free shipping within the Continental United States.  Free shipping to Alaska and Hawaii on orders of $200 or more. Free international shipping on orders of $300 or more. 
 
BACK ORDERS
Please note, all our jewelry is handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico and can take 4-6 weeks to arrive if on back order. If you need your item(s) to ship immediately, please email us at laura@renatarubio.com to find out the availability.
 
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Please be aware that all Renata Rubio 92.5 jewelry purchased online must be returned directly to RenataRubio.com, and not any retail store. We are unable to accept any returns for items bought in a retail store or on another website.  If this is the case, please refer to their return policy for further information. 


RenataRubio.com will accept jewelry for return or exchange within 30 days of receiving shipment.   Item(s) must be unworn and returned in new and original condition. All sale items are final and non-returnable.  Items received as gifts may be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value.


A Return Authorization # MUST be obtained before returning any item(s). To receive your RA #, please forward the email receipt you received after your purchase to laura@renatarubio.com

For your security, please send merchandise back via a traceable carrier and in a well-padded box or envelope. Renata Rubio is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

EXCHANGE POLICY

We are happy to exchange your purchase for a different size, length or style. Renata Rubio will charge you any difference in price for the new merchandise or issue a store credit if the exchange is less than the original price.

WHAT IF THE MERCHANDISE I ORDERED WAS DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT?
In cases where merchandise arrives damaged or defective, we will gladly replace the item and take care of all additional shipping charges related to the return. Please contact us within 30 days of the receipt of your damaged package.
 
HOW SHOULD I SHIP MY RETURN?
For your protection, please send all returns via a traceable carrier and in a well-padded box or envelope. We cannot be responsible for returns that are lost or damaged during return shipping.
