This one-of-a-kind twin dome sterling silver ring is a masterpiece created using the lost wax process, also known as cire-perdue in French. More than just a ring, it is a sculpture made from a wax cast mold, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and artistry.
The lost wax technique involves hand-making a wax mold, pouring hot, liquid sterling silver into it, and then melting away the mold to reveal a sterling silver sculpture. This process, which dates back to the 3rd millennium BC, is renowned for its intricate detail and unique results.
This handmade ring features two domes connected at the base with an open gap between them, creating an airy and modern look. One dome is taller, adding a distinctive touch to this non-uniform piece. Measuring 0.7 inches at the front, the ring nearly reaches the base of the knuckle. Its highly polished finish, combined with oxidized spots, imparts an old-world allure characteristic of wax casting.
Your artistic sterling silver ring will arrive in a velvet jewelry pouch, complete with a polishing cloth. All our artisan-crafted jewelry is designed to last a lifetime and includes free worldwide shipping.
